Weekend Potluck #69

Before we get to the main event I want to take a quick minute and apologize for being a little absent lately. Ever since my kids got out of school for the summer I have just felt a little burned out on the blog. Not to mention, I have had a few fails in the kitchen trying to create some new dishes to share with you. That can get a little discouraging. My family and I just got back from vacation the other day and I feel rested and ready to create. Please hang in there with me. I promise to have a lot of yummy stuff coming up in the weeks to come! Have a terrific weekend friends! ~Kim

If you're new to the party...welcome! If you have a food blog we would love for you to share what you have been cooking. If you don't have a food blog this party is for you as well. Simply click on the picture of a dish that interests you, and you will be taken to the recipe source. We love to poke around every week and see what everyone brings, and trust us...we are never disappointed! Have a terrific weekend!

One thing...when Pinning these awesome recipes, be sure to click on the picture and go to the original link. That way when you go to try the recipe it will be pinned from the original source and you won't be directed back here and then have to click again.

Now, let's take a quick peek back at last week...

We all get a little burned out from time to time. So glad you listened to your gut and took a break. Summer is almost here go easy on yourself. Thanks for the party.

I'm just getting over a little 'burn out' period myself. Sometimes it's good to just step away! I don't know what things will be like once my kids are out of school (they don't get out until June 10th!) Thanks for featuring my Chicken Parmesan Casserole, I don't think I've ever gotten the 'most clicks' before :-) Today, I've linked up brownie "graduation hats"! Thanks for hosting!

I'm right there with Kim of Mo Betta and you in the thinking that sometimes it's good to step back and get refreshed. I recently went through a period when about 6 or 7 things I made were not blog-worthy. =( Discouraging for sure! We all need a break, and we look forward to more of your yummy recipes. Happy to know you got to enjoy a family getaway. Hurrah for you all!
